About us

The shared heritage of humankind is crucial dynamic sources of learning, community identity and sustainable economic development rather than decaying attributes manifesting our past.
My career interests include : conservation of built heritage, structural and geotechnical analysis of historic structures, project management, heritage site management and urban mobility planning.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, India and a Certificate in Architectural Conservation and Historic Preservation from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Additionaly, attended CPD courses for FIDIC contract management, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, and Material Science for Building Conservation.
My professional career began in 2018 as Conservation Engineer for Stone Town Conservation and Development Authority (STCDA) until 2021.
From 2021 to 2022, I was a freelance Historic Buildings Engineer.
From 2023 till date, I am a Awareness and Restoration Coordinator (Capital Coordinator) at Zanzibar Stone Heriatge Society (ZSTHS). ZSTHS is a NGO devoted to conservation of Stone Town of Zanzibar through advocacy, community engangement and built heritage conservation.

Current projects

Main themes include : Built Heritage Conservation, Historic Urban Landscape approach, Urban Mobility and Site management.
